“The Parthenon Sculptures” is the third free educational program designed for the museum’s little visitors. Children can borrow a custom “family backpack” filled with various games and activities and learn all about the Parthenon and its sculptures; the pediments, the metopes and the frieze.

 In collaboration with the educational department of the Museum, this program was designed for children from 8 to 12 years old.
The backpack contains: An educational leaflet, “The Parthenon Sculptures”. A kids’ map of the Parthenon Gallery with a proposed route for their visit. Kids look for a specific exhibit in ten chosen spots, so that they can stick the relevant sticker onto their maps. A puzzle with a colour drawing of the Parthenon.
